Summer doesn't have to look like school to support learning!
Try these simple habits:
📚 Read together for 15 minutes daily
Stories build vocabulary, comprehension, and imagination.
🎲 Play games that require thinking
Board games, card games, puzzles, and scavenger hunts strengthen memory, attention, and problem-solving.
🛒 Turn errands into learning adventures
Count items at the grocery store, read signs, compare prices, and talk about what you observe.
🌎 Use both languages naturally
Read a story in Spanish, sing songs, or discuss your day in both languages.
🎨 Create more, consume less
Encourage drawing, building, crafting, storytelling, and imaginative play.
🌱 Let children help with real-life tasks
Cooking, gardening, packing for trips, and organizing toys build confidence and executive function skills.
