11 years of Amanda at Altius. Which, frankly, means she deserves some sort of medal. đâ¤ď¸
For more than a decade now, Amanda has been the person quietly holding the whole bloody thing together.
Sheâs our General Manager, but that title doesnât really begin to cover it. She makes sure everyone is where theyâre supposed to be, doing what theyâre supposed to be doing, usually at roughly the time theyâre supposed to be doing it. She keeps our clients happy, keeps the offices moving, keeps the instructors and the rest of us vaguely organized, and deals with the endless collection of problems, changes, questions and general nonsense that comes with running Altius.
Basically, if Altius looks organized from the outside, there is a very good chance Amanda is responsible for the illusion.
She has been there through an enormous amount of growth, change, chaos, good times, difficult times and more than a few questionable ideas from me, and through all of it she has remained one of the most dependable, loyal and genuinely important people in the company.
All of us at Altius know how much she does, and I certainly know just how much easier she makes my life. She is the backbone of this company, a huge part of why we are what we are today, and quite simply someone I cannot imagine Altius without.
So, from me and everyone at Altius, thank you Amanda for an incredible 11 years.
We love you, we appreciate you, and unfortunately for you, we have absolutely no intention of letting you leave. đâ¤ď¸
