The Heimlich maneuver can help clear a blocked airway in seconds.

Follow these steps:
1 - Stand behind the person. Wrap your arms around their waist
2 - Make a fist. Place it just above the belly button
3 - Grab your fist with your other hand
4 - Give quick inward + upward thrusts
5 - Repeat until the airway clears or help arrives

Ebola is rare, but itโ€™s okay to stay informed๐Ÿ’ก

Hereโ€™s the basics:
โœ… Spreads through direct contact with body fluids (not casual contact)
โœ… Not airborne. You canโ€™t get it from being near someone or sharing space
โœ… Symptoms may include fever, fatigue, muscle pain, vomiting, and diarrhea
โœ… People are only contagious after symptoms begin
๐Ÿ’ฌ Good news: Risk for students in the U.S. is extremely low.

Memorial Day can bring up a lot of feelings. โค๏ธ
As we honor and remember those who served, itโ€™s also okay if today feels heavy.

If youโ€™re feeling sad or overwhelmed, try:

Take a quiet moment to breathe
Reach out to someone you trust
Get outside for fresh air
Do something small that brings you comfort

Grief, gratitude, and everything in between are valid.
If you need extra support, you donโ€™t have to go through it alone. Reach out to CAPS or explore our Psychiatry services for care and support. Explore our Linktree in our profile for more information.

โ˜€๏ธSummer means more sunlight, and that means more UV exposure.

For Skin Cancer Awareness Month, sunscreen is your best defense against harmful rays ๐Ÿงด

Protect yourself:
- SPF 30+ every day
- Reapply every 2 hours
- Donโ€™t skip ears, neck & hands

Sunscreen isnโ€™t just for the beachโ€”itโ€™s for every day โœจ
