Our Junior Ballet Workshop starts next week, and it is the perfect summer experience for dancers ages 7–9! This dynamic workshop focuses on building a strong foundation in Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Jazz, and Musical Theater, giving young artists a well-rounded and exciting week of dance.

Our Summer 2026 training is officially underway, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication, artistry, and energy our dancers have brought into the studios so far! From mastering new technical skills to building lasting friendships, it has already been a beautiful season of growth.

As we head into the beautiful, warm summer months, it is the perfect time to give our pointe shoes a little extra care and attention. Summer humidity can take a quick toll on the glue and structure of your shoes, but a few simple habits will keep them supportive, safe, and ready for class.

Here are a few quick tips to help your pointe shoes last all summer long:

Keep Them Dry
Always take your shoes out of your dance bag as soon as you get home. Letting them air-dry completely between classes prevents the box from softening too quickly in the summer heat.

Use Mesh Bags
If you need to carry them, a breathable mesh bag is a wonderful way to protect your shoes while allowing air to circulate.

Rotate Your Pairs
If you are dancing in a summer intensive or taking multiple classes a week, try alternating between two pairs of shoes. Giving each pair a full 24 to 48 hours to dry completely will greatly extend their lifespan.

Taking care of your instruments is such a beautiful part of a dancer's discipline, and a little extra maintenance goes a long way in keeping you dancing safely.

Summer Saturdays are under way!

If you are looking for a joyful, low-pressure way to stay moving, learning, and connected all season long, this is your perfect opportunity. These Saturday sessions are designed to nurture a love of dance while building strong foundational skills for both our youngest dancers and adults.

Morning Classes (Ages 3–6)
9:00–9:45 — Creative Movement (Age 3)
10:00–10:45 — Joy of Dance (Age 4)
11:00–12:00 — Pre-Ballet / Primary 1 (Ages 5–6) FULL
Tuition: $200 for the full summer session

Afternoon Classes (Adults)
1:00–2:15 — Adult Beginner Ballet
2:15–2:45 — Adult Intermediate Variations (optional add-on)
Tuition: $175 for Beginner Ballet, plus $110 for the Variations add-on

Join us for two exceptional weeks of focused classical ballet training during our Classical Mastery Workshop.

Dancers will train with an outstanding faculty of professional artists and educators including Allison Miller, Alex Pandiscio, Nao Kusuzaki, Jared Matthews, Carol Anglin, and Tina Bohnstedt. Throughout the workshop, dancers will experience thoughtful, high-level instruction emphasizing refinement, clarity of technique, artistry, musicality, and performance quality.

Faculty members bring extensive professional performance and teaching experience from respected ballet companies and institutions, creating an inspiring environment centered on disciplined work, artistic growth, and classical excellence. In addition to daily classical variations coaching, dancers will also receive specialty classes in Bournonville and Horton techniques.

Classical Mastery Workshop:
• Week One: July 20–24
(features daily Bournonville class)

• Week Two: July 27–31
(features daily Horton class)

Across four inspiring weeks of Summer Intensive training, dancers will work with an exceptional faculty of professional artists, educators, choreographers, and company leaders from across the ballet and contemporary dance worlds. Faculty include Connor Walsh, Allison Miller, Alex Pandiscio, Carol Anglin, Lindsay Cortner, Nao Kusuzaki, Barry Kerollis, Caleb Mitchell, Fırat Özsoy, Robbie Moore, and Dylan Allen. Students begin each day with Floor Barre or Gyrokinesis classes, led by our amazing conditioning team, Dr. Tova Alladice and Lisa Petrozzi.

Each week offers focused classical ballet training rooted in artistry, refinement, musicality, and strong technical development. Dancers will also experience dynamic contemporary instruction ranging from expressive and grounded movement exploration to expansive, physically driven choreography led by accomplished contemporary artists and master teachers.

Summer Intensive Weeks:
• June 1–5
• June 8–12
• June 15–19
• June 22–26

This summer is designed to challenge, inspire, and encourage dancers in an environment centered on growth, excellence, and meaningful artistic development.
