and consulting has a new name! Offering School selection guidance, Education for schools, organizations, and parents; and School consulting. We are no longer offering regular onsite arts and movement classes. Creative Connections is so thankful for the opportunity to serve more than 70 schools and organizations from 2008-2015! Our current services focus on:
Educational consulting for families
Teacher training, coaching, and classroom support
Workshops/Camps for children. Educator training topics include:
classroom management, special education, child development, emotional regulation, play, the arts, movement, brain development, behavior, intervention, after school, early childhood and more! Teacher coaching and support: Onsite and online support for teachers and school faculty. Student observation, classroom support, and referral assistance. Education Consulting includes:
Helping families " find their fit" for the best school fit for their family in the Houston area. Camps and workshops: Annual preschool and Elementary Arts camps. Movement, Yoga and Social skills classes and workshops. Presentations for organizations and program development are also available.

About Creative Connections:
Creative Connections was founded in August of 2007 by Casey Casteel to provide Educational and Fun, developmentally appropriate Fine Arts opportunities for students in a supportive and nurturing environment that emphasizes creativity, imagination and independent thinking. The Creative Connections difference:
All of our faculty are highly educated in their teaching subjects. All have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field as well as teaching experience and training. Faculty participate in continued education and training in their teaching subjects, child development and education. All of our curriculum is designed “ in house” by our qualified faculty members and is customized to meet the needs of each class dynamic. All classes are designed to educate children in their subject area and related core subject areas through developmentally appropriate, fun, and engaging activities in a creative, nurturing and supportive environment. Classes are currently offered:
Our educational and engaging classes are offered in some of Houston's finest private and public schools; churches;childcare centers and more! If you would like to bring classes to your school or location, let us know.

This week had the opportunity to collaborate with The New Day School. I enjoyed my visit and am looking forward to further collaboration.

The first week of February is stacked with DSH events ✨
We’re kicking off the 2026 Dancer Wellness Series with a full day of care and learning on February 4.

This is the first of three workshops happening at the same location, starting with Supporting Dancer and Dance Educator Mental Health: Inside and Outside the Studio, led by | Casey Casteel.

This session focuses on recognizing mental health needs and building sustainable habits that support dancers and educators. Participants will learn practical strategies for managing stress and caring for themselves and their students.
