A little over a week ago, we celebrated the graduation of the Westbury Christian School Class of 2026.
From our "lifers" who began their journey in our primary building to the students who joined the Wildcat community along the way, this class has left their mark on WCS through their academic dedication, vibrant faith, friendship, and enthusiasm.
They are prepared to take ownership of their next steps in universities, careers, and ministries, carrying with them a firm foundation of servant-leadership.
Class of 2026, as you step out into the world, our prayers go with you. May you always remember to let your light shine brightly wherever God calls you. WCS will always be your home! 🐾

A talented group of Lower School writers spent over a month writing, editing, and creating original books entirely on their own time! Their hard work was submitted for judging, and they celebrated their accomplishments with a special party featuring a guest host from Kindred Stories Bookstore.
The celebration included an extra-special surprise — six lucky Wildcats won $100 gift cards generously donated by the University of Houston Center for Social Transformation!
We are so proud of these young authors for sharing their creativity, using their voices, and inspiring others through their words and examples. Keep shining brightly and changing the world, one story at a time!

💛💙Teacher Spotlight:
Mrs. Hatfield is celebrating her 11th year of teaching at WCS, where she inspires 11th and 12th grade students in AP U.S. History, AP U.S. Government and Politics, U.S. Government, Economics, and U.S. History. She loves being part of a smaller school community, where meaningful relationships with students can flourish through smaller class sizes and personal connections. By learning about her students’ interests, she is able to encourage them, support their growth, and bring real-world relevance into the classroom.
One of Mrs. Hatfield’s favorite parts of teaching at WCS is the freedom to openly share faith and talk about God in everyday conversations. She especially enjoys working with juniors and seniors as they prepare to step into adulthood and begin making important life decisions. Through engaging lessons, thoughtful discussions, and real-life experiences — like celebrating a student voting for the very first time — Mrs. Hatfield strives to equip her students with the knowledge, confidence, and perspective they need to become informed and responsible citizens.
Thank you, Mrs. Hatfield!

Last week, we celebrated our 8th graders with one of our favorite traditions: the 8th Grade Honor Chapel. This is a special time when we pause to celebrate each of our 8th graders—from those who joined our family recently to those who have been Wildcats since their very first days in preschool.
Mrs. Turner shared a glimpse into the unique journey of every student, highlighting their involvement in school life, their bright aspirations for college and beyond, and the favorite scriptures that guide their steps.
Please join us in praying for the Class of 2030 as they "move up" and continue to seek first the Kingdom in all they do! 🐾📖

Earlier this month, many of our seniors took part in our 2026 Senior Signing Day, proudly sharing the universities and majors they plan to pursue after graduation. Surrounded by loved ones, they stepped onto the stage to sign their letters of intent while classmates, fellow students, teachers, and staff filled the room with cheers and celebration.
We are incredibly excited to see what these Wildcats accomplish in the next chapter of their journeys. We continue to pray for them and remain hopeful that the foundation built at WCS has equipped them with the tools they need to navigate what lies ahead.
Shine bright, Class of 2026!
