Greetings volunteers, students and friends of CrossWalk Houston. Wanted to update everyone on the latest at CrossWalk and The Outreach Center of West Houston. Due to the coronavirus and local regulations, the Center will be closed until those restrictions are lifted. It is extremely difficult for all of us. There is so much love and relational ministry and support that happens every day at the Center. I pray everyone is finding the space to maintain health and a positive outlook. Hope is our friend.

Please take time each day to read and write. Take time to call a friend. Take time sitting or walking outside and let the endorphins of the sun warm your soul. This is not a time to hibernate but a time to reinvigorate. We are all in this together. CrossWalk Houston will meet you on the other end of this virus where we will once again learn, love and share community table together.

Meet our newest American citizen, Nelson Onokwakpor, who was sworn in Wednesday, February 12th. He attends basic education courses at CrossWalk Houston. Nelson is one of several students at CrossWalk Houston from Nigeria.

CrossWalk Houston provided delicious ice cream treats to help students at Family Point Resources celebrate making honor roll!

October's Community Table was the best ever. Our ESL class from Spring Branch Elementary took a field trip and joined us for lunch where students, staff and community shared their stories over a great meal.

These fabulous parents from Spring Branch Elementary finished their first semester of ESL under the beautiful leadership of Robbie Adams. All ladies have committed to continuing their education in the fall provided Robbie is their fearless leader. Love what CrossWalk Houston is doing in our community.
