This space plays an important role in helping our students develop self-regulation skills, manage emotions, and feel ready to learn. Thanks to this gift, we can create an even more supportive and therapeutic environment for the children we serve.

Last week, we had not one, but two very special reasons to celebrate 💚

It was Administrative Professionals Day and Ms. Rachel’s 5th year at THS!

Rachel is the heart of our front office, the calm in the chaos, and our go-to for just about everything (including the occasional “school nurse” moment!) She brings warmth, humor, and unwavering support to our students, families, and staff every single day.

We are so lucky to have her as part of our community—thank you, Ms. Rachel, for all that you do and for the love you bring to THS. Here’s to many more years! ✨🦔

We’ve made our current spaces work, because our students matter more than the building.

But they deserve more than “making do.”

The Burrow will allow us to create spaces intentionally designed for regulation, connection, and growth.

It’s officially KWESI DAY at The Harris School! 🎉

20 years. Countless students. Endless support. And more big belly laughs than we could ever count.

Kwesi, our amazing Assistant Principal, has been the calm in the chaos, the voice of reason, and the one who somehow keeps us all smiling….even on the toughest days.

We truly don’t know what we’d do without you.

Here’s to 20 incredible years—and many more ahead (because we’re not letting you go anywhere 😉).

We’re so excited to share that The Harris School is now an official Monarch Waystation 🦋🌿

Our garden is now a safe, nurturing space for monarch butterflies to grow and rest along their journey.

Just like with our students, we believe that with the right environment and support, growth and transformation are always possible 💚

Today we’re celebrating someone very special, Ms. Ally’s 5 year anniversary at THS (and her birthday, too! 🎂)!

Ms. Ally brings so much calm, care, and compassion to our school each day. From supporting our students to caring for our animals 🐔, her kindness shines through in everything she does.

We are so grateful she’s part of our THS family. Our school is better because of her 💚
