Brownstone Book Club was established on November 05, 2011 by a group of ladies who came together to collaborative on their vision for a book club. BBC is based in Houston Texas with a roster currently of 15 active members. These ladies get together on a monthly bases to share a time and space with one another that is filled with, but not limited to, their love for reading. The premise around these
meetings is fostered by a bond of complete sisterhood to think outside of the box by uplifting, enlightening, inspiring and encouraging one another to always do and be more. In being more than just a book club periodically throughout the year BBC gives back to the community through participating in community service work and/or giving charitable donations to various organizations. In the month of November, BBC sponsors a mixer which opens it's membership up to all ladies. The maximum number of members for BBC base membership shall not exceed 15 members. The vision for this mixer is to be a window of reflection for BBC active members, while offering all attendees the opportunity to connect and network with other ladies who's focus is to come out and be challenged, deliberate, and share in their experiences.
