We are pleased to announce that Angel is receiving the statewide music award of "Texas Music Scholar" by the Texas Music Educators Association.
This award is given to students who have exhibited outstanding qualities in scholastic merit, musicianship and citizenship in their school and community during the 2021-2022 school year. Last year fewer than 1,800 students were named as Texas Music Scholars.
She will be recognized at an awards ceremony following the choir concert on Monday May 9, 2022 at 7:00pm.
