Most singers focus on pitch, speed, and tone when they’re working on riffs. But the emotion is what makes people feel it. Where you take your breath, what you emphasize, how you start the note, how long you sit on it. All of that changes what your riff is actually saying. Try the same riff as many ways as you can and see which performance locks in to what you’re trying to communicate. What riff or song are you working on right now? 👇

The difference between singers who transform their voice and singers who don’t isn’t talent. It isn’t even effort. It’s what they do with the hard days. Because the hard days are coming for everyone. The question is whether you understand what they mean. Drop in the comments which type of practice you’re having right now. 👇
Have you ever started singing and just cried? I was driving to the gym this morning and it just happened. The words hit different today. I was praying for strength and then that song just came to mind and met me right where I was. It reaches to the highest mountain. It flows to the lowest valley. Sometimes God meets you in a melody before He meets you in words. Before I was saved it was still an emotional outlet. But now it goes so much deeper, it’s a form of worship and an answer to a prayer. Has God ever communicated with you through a song? Or has music just moved you in a moment you weren’t expecting? Tell me in the comments. 🧡
It’s all about balancing a critical ear and a motivating mindset to prevent stalling or burning out! Let’s normalize celebrating small wins as singers! 🙌✨ Your voice is doing more than you give it credit for.

I used to think I needed everything to be just right before I could have a good practice session. Meanwhile time was just passing by...and there’s nothing worse than having to cram rehearsals right before a show and realizing your voice isn’t up for the challenge because you’ve been off on your training. Your voice doesn’t need perfect conditions. It just needs you.
What are you practicing right now? 👇
You don’t need a perfect setup to practice today. You just need your voice and a few minutes. That’s it. 🙌✨ What song are you working on right now? 👇

Riffs and runs are one of the hardest things to learn because they require your ear, your muscle memory, and your breath support all working together at once. It takes time, but it’s SOOOOO worth it! What run are you working on right now? 👇
Intentional practice that develops your ear, muscle memory, and breath control yields cleaner riffs and runs. Your run doesn’t have to be perfect today. It just has to be better than yesterday. That’s how this works. 👍 What riff or run are you working on right now? 👇
