Our new C.E. King High School Fine Arts Wall of Honor and PAC Entrance graphics went up today! I am so excited to be permanently celebrating our All-State Musicians and State/National Thespians, as we continue the upward trajectory of our performing arts programs in Sheldon ISD!

C.E. King High School Mini-Cheer Clinic

Open to all ECA, Elementary, or Middle School aged students.

Camp to learn cheers, jumps, and chants will occur on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the C.E. King High School 9th and 10th Grade Campus from 8:30AM-12:00PM, including a Showcase Performance at 11:45AM in the campus Competition Gym.

Camp participants will also be able to cheer with the KHS Cheerleaders at the Friday, September 25, varsity football game against Crosby on the field at Panther Stadium. (Camp participants will get free entry to the game, but all parents, guardians, family, or guests will still have to pay for game tickets to attend.)

Heat during warmups, then rain, plus an hour delay due to lightning, and some electrical issues during the halftime show still could not dampen my pride on an outstanding opening night of Panther Football, Band, Cheer, Choir National Anthem, and Drill Team season! We’re off to a great start!

Calling all ECA, Elementary, and Middle School aged students! Come cheer along with the C.E. King High School Cheerleaders at the KHS Mini Cheer Clinic!

For only $85 ( paid at https://cekingfa.ludus.com/200543897 ), your child can attend a camp from 8:30AM-12:00PM on Saturday, September 12 to learn our cheers, jumps, and chants and can then cheer along our Panthers with the Cheerleaders on Friday, September 25 when we take in Crosby at Panther Stadium!

Hours after school is done, Sheldon ISD Fine Arts students and programs are still hard at work preparing their fall shows, including the KHS Marching Band getting their first stadium practice for Astra and KHS Theatre starting to get Peter and the Starcatcher on stage! You can catch your first glimpse of the band at their community performance on Friday at 6:30 in Panther Stadium.
