We announce to you “And The BEAT Goes On” the television series produced by McCoy Media, HeartBEAT Houston, Upward Artistry Talent Agency!🎥🎞️
We are so elated to have served our community in the capacity that we have. As we move into our 10th year, it is time to spread all that our Houston dance family has felt over the years, and expand ourselves beyond Houston into the national spectrum. This has most certainly been some time in the making, and excitement is brewing as we enter the next phase of HeartBEAT.
“And The BEAT Goes On” will follow the day-to-day life of our entire HeartBEAT family. Viewers will take a peek into the walls of the studio as cameras follow all of our dancers and staff on our road to Disney - oh, did we not tell y’all that we’re performing at Disney World?! This is not just another dance show as the camera centralizes its focus on dancers of color from the eyes of the directors, staff, notable special commentators providing historical context, with a few recognizable cast members to help us along the way. It is not just time to tell our journey as dance directors of color, but it is also time for HeartBEAT to expand its reach into households and studios nationally.
We would like to thank “The Whispers” management team for so graciously passing me the master to “And The BEAT Goes On” (the song). That’s right…this is really happening, y’all!🎥🎞️
We ask for all of you to come along with us as supporters, donors, investors, and viewers within this next phase.
We’re super-excited and we can’t wait for what God has in store for us to continue to build our legacy!
💕💙
