Alhamdulilah we had join us for a Project Downtown with our Sunday School kids. The kids enjoyed it so much and learned about the meaning of charity and Sadaqah!

Our annual Talent Showdown was a success! A huge thank you to all the judges and staff who helped make this happen, and a congratulations to all the winners and students who participated!

Al-Noor Sunday School enjoyed a beautiful day at Cullinan Park!

Students learned about nature, engaged in hands-on activities, and reflected on Islamic teachings about Allah’s creation.

Today, our Sunday School students enjoyed a special visit from Dr. Ajmal Khalid of Krona Dentistry (Arcola, TX) 🪥✨

Dr. Khalid taught the children the importance of good mouth hygiene, shared practical tips for keeping their teeth healthy, and answered their curious questions. In class, students also learned about the beautiful Sunnah of using miswāk for oral care — combining modern knowledge with prophetic tradition.

A big thank you to Dr. Khalid for making learning fun and meaningful! 🦷🌿

What a faith inspiring competition!

Last week, the students competed in the finals of the 2024-2025 Al-Noor Sunday School Talent Showdown. It was fierce at end as finalists tried their best to win one of the Qirat, Drawing, Quiz, and Essay competitions.

We are grateful to all the judges, teachers, staff and committee members in all their efforts towards the 2 week long event. Many thanks to all the parents who helped support their children through out the competition.

What a close competition!

Today we held our Talent Showdown’s Qualifiers where students faced off with their amazing talents and knowledge for Qirat, Quiz, Art and Drawing competitions.

Join us next week for the final rounds to see who wins! Everyone is welcome to join and cheer on our incredible students.

Our students are starting their preparations for the upcoming Talent Showdown! We also discussed today the important event of Meraj and its great miracles.

JazakAllah to the Mulla family for bringing Pizzas for our children and staff.

Despite the cold weather, students and staff had another fun and productive day learning about various Prophets and stories of Seerah.

We had a great opportunity this Sunday to have Dr Arsalan from Sweet Tooth Smiles: Dentistry and Orthodontics to teach our students about dental hygiene and held classes on the importance of Miswak as a Sunnah.
