Emery has once again earned a spot on the NAMM Foundation's "Best Communities for Music Education" list — for the NINTH consecutive year!!!!!!!!!
Shoutout to every student who's ever picked up an instrument and to our music teachers who show up day after day. This one's for you. 👏🎶
Out of 127 schools recognized across the entire country this year, only THREE were in Texas - and we're one of them.
PLUS: Only THREE schools nationwide have received this award more than nine times. (We've got out sights set on that record - and beyond!)

Yesterday's annual Middle School "Emery Idol" talent show delivered again this year - and somehow, impossibly, it was even better than before! It's always a good day when we get a room full of kids rooting for each other loudly, genuinely, and without reservation.
Thank you to the performers who dared to get up there AND to the behind-the-scenes champions who made Emery Idol 2026 so much fun! 🙌✨

From the the beachy backdrop to the chill playlist to the refreshing snow cones courtesy of @yetisunshine , the Alexander Lecture Hall and Harrison Atrium became a center of celebratory energy - all to thank our incredible student ambassadors for all of the hard work, positivity, and time they’ve put in from August to now. Get your well-deserved flowers (and some leis), ambassadors! 🌺🌼

ICYMI: For yesterday’s celebration of Yom Ha’atzmaut, our Middle School and Upper School students came together for Israel-themed activities, followed by a special Hero’s Concert “Project Heroes” performance featuring some talented Israeli musicians!
With Israeli flags, music, and food filling our campus, the day was a beautiful balance of time for both reflection and celebration.
