🎨✨ Another amazing year of Kido Family Hours at the Affordable Art Fair!
For the third year in a row, our Kido community came together to celebrate creativity, connection, and the joy of making art together. Families explored four interactive stations throughout our area, each designed to inspire imagination and hands-on discovery.
From loose parts play to colorful self-portraits, every station was filled with creativity, curiosity, and so many special moments. We loved seeing children and families create, explore, and express themselves through art in such a vibrant community setting. 💛
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s event such a success — we can’t wait for next year! 🎨🌟

Thank you to all of our amazing educators for the difference you make in the lives of children and families. We are grateful for you not just during Teacher Appreciation Week, but all year long!

Last week was tons of fun at Kido EaDo as we counted down to El Día del Niño! 🎉 A special holiday in Mexico dedicated to honoring children, celebrating their importance in society, and promoting their well-being.
Each day brought a new themed adventure as we created joyful, lasting memories together. We kicked things off with a sensory water table experience, followed by a cozy camping day full of dress-up fun and imaginative play. Midweek, the excitement continued with a vibrant neon dance party featuring black lights, glowing bracelets, and light-up glasses!
The grand finale was our Día del Niño celebration 🎉 complete with a fun bike & stroller parade. Our kiddos showed off their decorated wheels as they cruised around our closed parking lot, with parents joining in on the celebration too. A beautiful way to honor childhood, community, and the joy of growing up together. 💛

Our school was filled with light, color, and creativity as families and community members came together to share ideas, find inspiration, and celebrate the joy of art. It was a meaningful experience that we were so happy to enjoy together. 💛
We love creating opportunities to connect through creativity and are excited to continue sharing these special moments with our community—especially as we look ahead to the Affordable Art Fair later this month in Austin! 🎉

🌎✨ At Kido EaDo, we celebrated Earth Month with a creative and inspiring Recycle Art Gallery project!
Our students had so much fun transforming recycled materials into beautiful works of art while building teamwork skills and staying engaged throughout the process. The finished gallery was a wonderful showcase of their imagination, collaboration, and hard work. ♻️🎨
It was especially meaningful to see children making connections at home by searching for items to bring in and recycle, creating a strong bridge between home and school.
This hands-on project supported social skills, cognitive development, and environmental awareness—all while making learning fun for everyone involved. 💚

Celebrating the Week of the Young Child at Bouldin Creek
Each April, the National Association for the Education of Young Children brings educators and families together to honor early learning and last week we joined in all the fun!
From Career Day to Decades dress-up, each moment was filled with joy and purpose. Our students engaged in meaningful learning through hands-on experiences in music , art , and early math: bringing creativity and skill-building together in ways that feel both engaging and impactful.
