Creating a Fringe Show is a 6-week interactive course designed for actors, writers, directors, comedians, and performance artists ready to turn an original idea into a production that can hit the festival circuit.

Led by award winning Fringe performer, playwright, producer, and educator Lauren Hance, you’ll explore the world of Fringe Festivals and launch a journey intro creating bold, original work.

Expand your actor toolkit and learn how to approach accents with confidence and specificity.

Using principles of Knight-Thompson Speechwork, instructor Magdalen Vaughn (MFA ’22, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) guides actors through pronunciation, accent analysis, and applying an accent to performance.

The class will choose an accent to explore together, culminating in a recorded dialogue performance for your reel!

Join playwright, actor, dramaturg, and educator Comfort Ifeoma Katchy for Worldbuilding for Writers, a five-week course exploring how writers can create vivid, specific worlds that bring their stories to life.

Comfort received her MFA in Playwriting from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University, and is a recipient of the ASCAP Cole Porter Prize in Playwriting, and numerous honors for her work as a playwright.
