Today was a great day for a match at the FIFA World Cup in H-Town 🤘🏻

Thanks to Veteran Tickets Foundation - Vet Tix and their supporters Bank of America for giving us the opportunity to go and for my one and only Tania Trione for being the most beautiful date in the world 🌎

These tickets were in the 100's section would have cost us $1000's if it wasn't for Vet Tix. If you are a vet dand don't have Vet Tix then you need to get the app and start putting in for event near you.

Having been to Curacao before I was hoping they would make it a little more of a match, but I am good with Germany as well and understand their prominence in soccer and glad for my brother Matt Gwinn as well who was cheering on Germany

It was truly beautiful to see many people come together peacefully to enjoy their lives and cheer on their favorite team 🇩🇪🇨🇼 and some like us. I also got to see one of my favorite shipmates from Active Duty Michelle and her daughter 💪🏻

Thankful to be part of the experience.

I am excited about the start to the Cup🏆by U.S. Soccer.

Who knows we're one of the host countries, so miracles could happen 👀

Either way, we caught the Fifa fever today if only for a little while!

Go out and go after it today y'all.

It's easy to lead when everything is going great and everyone is cheering you on

But

That's not where the actual progress is made

Your partners, employees, clients and potential clients are going to look to you when things aren't going as planned and it's your job to figure out what to do!

You can't sit back and wait for someone to come in and save the day because you are that someone and no one else is coming to help

Take a step back, look at what you still have going right and let that be the motivation and drive that pushes you to figure out how to best move forward.

It's often painful and it often takes everything you've got to be a leader that truly influences others in a way to make a big impact on the world, but what is more valuable to do with your time on this beautiful planet?

I encourage you to find the problems in our world that you can help solve and get to work each day solving it my friends!

As someone who fights mental battles every second of every day

I can tell you that it's not about how tough you are or how much you can handle.

It's about how honest and open you can be with what you are actually facing and where you need help and where you can progress

There is no secret, but the closest thing I have found is building solid relationships with people who can offer a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen.

Just because someone is positive and engaged doesn't mean they aren't having to constantly adjust and manage symptoms and challenges.

Don't judge anyone, even yourself. Learn to only love and the world will be a better place for us all.

I pray that each of you has someone to turn to and if you don't reach out and I will do my best to be there for you or point you in the right direction!

Keep pushing my friends. We're stronger together 💪🏼

I 100% could not do what I do and stay consistently dedicated if I did not

Ever since I was in grade school I seemed to get more out of supporting my teammates and friends in their own successes more than my own

I have a very difficult time being self motivated in regards to my own achievements and accolades, but you put a mission in front of me that lifts us all up and I will fight to the death

This has been to a fault many times in my life, but I wouldn't go back and change anything

It has been challenging lately as many of those around me are having a difficult time in many different arenas and I have no way of helping them adequately

God definitely has a plan and I am doing everything I can to open to and to follow these steps that are being presented in my life

My hope is that you can find a little of this belief in yourself and start to open your heart and your mind to what God is trying to show you

You need to dig deep and figure out what your mission is today and do not wait another minute to chase your own goals and mission

The world is calling all Heroes to don their capes and for you to show up in whatever way you can today.

I am still on this mission with you and I am willing to offer help in the areas I have the experience and tools to do so and I will also call upon you as we progress.

I am thankful that you have decided to stick around and take this journey with me and I am proud of you for putting in the work required to progress.

Keep an open heart, open mind and purposefully engaged hands and feet today my friends.
