The Westview School The Westview School is Houston’s premier school for children on the autism spectrum.

The Westview School is a private school for children with autism spectrum disorder from ages 2 to 15 years. Westview’s challenging, well-rounded curriculum includes a full range of academic programs with additional focus on social communication and social skills. Westview also offers opportunities to pursue the arts, extra-curricular activities and real-world experiences.

We are monitoring the weather and road conditions in our area for tomorrow. At this time, there is no change to Westview’s regular school schedule for Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Families living in areas experiencing greater effects from the weather should use their best judgment regarding safe travel to school.

We will continue to monitor conditions overnight and into the morning. Families will be notified via W.I.N.S. only if there is a change to our regular school schedule.

Heather Webster, M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech Pathologist at The Stewart Center, will discuss how self-advocacy skills develop early and share practical strategies that parents and caregivers can use to help children recognize their needs, communicate what works for them, ask for help, and build confidence in speaking up for themselves.
