Hairgrove's History:
Hairgrove Elementary was named after Jewel Roper Hairgrove, who began her public education career in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in 1966. She served as a counselor, dean of students, grade-level principal, and director of guidance and counseling. Notable awards include Texas Outstanding Counselor and Texas Outstanding Supervisor in the Texas Association of Counseling and Development

Check out our second AP Fun Day! This time kids played ‘Clean the Yard’ and let’s just say that cleaning has never been so fun! We had a competition of Navy vs. Power with over 100 students from Pre-K to 5th grade! 😱

This afternoon we had the pleasure of hosting a retirement celebration for three of Hairgrove’s finest — Mrs. Mikeska, Mrs. Chandler & Mrs. Devine. While we’re sad to see them go, we truly hope that they enjoy life without alarms, lesson plans and paperwork. Their love and support for our Dolphins will truly last a lifetime! 🐬
