The program moves across centuries and styles, featuring works by Franz Liszt, Maurice Duruflé, Charles Ives, and contemporary composer Errollyn Wallen. Whether you’re a longtime organ fan or hearing one live for the first time, this is a night you won’t want to miss.

Ask Sophia Dicks to describe herself and the answer comes quickly: she loves people.

The League City native and senior psychology major found her place at HCU during Welcome Days. She has spent her time here making sure other students find theirs, serving as Student Programming Board president, Student Involvement Intern, Peer Mentor, Welcome Days Pack Leader, and Summer RA.

“I chose psychology because I want to understand people better so that I can love and serve them better.”

Please join us in welcoming two officers to the HCU Police Department!

Chief John Karshner swore in new officer Daryl Smith and returning officer Chris Hess on Sept. 21 in Belin Chapel. During the ceremony, Chief Karshner described police work as a “calling” that requires courage, integrity and sound judgment.

“We are grateful for their commitment to service and wish them every success as they begin this important calling,” said Karshner.

HCU TriBeta wins awards at the 2026 National Convention! 🏆

Dr. Lisa Ellis and three HCU TriBeta students attended the 2026 Beta Beta Beta National Convention this summer, and our Huskies made their mark. Martin Navarro Ballagan earned 2nd place and Sophia Andrade received Honorable Mention for their poster presentations. Collin Posadas also presented a research poster.

HCU’s Iota Omicron chapter also took 1st place for its Chapter History E-Book, thanks to the efforts of Abigail Inocian and Ray Cagumbay.

Join us in congratulating these students on representing HCU so well!

Even after Peter's denial, Jesus restored him, choosing him as a leader. God calls us out of sin only to call us into something greater. 📢 🔥
