Superman, Thor, Batman, Black Panther, and Hulk helped add a little extra fun to HCC Southwest's employee celebration with the theme “superheroes” on June 4 at the West Loop campus. The real heroes, however, are the faculty and staff, as college President Dr. Michael Webster put it. He planned the surprise gathering to express his gratitude to the HCC Southwest family for their hard work and dedication. The event also recognized Southwest’s “unsung heroes” who go above and beyond to help and support students and the community. It was a fun and heartwarming get-together for all.
