Congratulations to our cheerleaders who received their national championship ring last night at a beautiful ceremony I was honored to attend. I’m so proud of the coaches and the kids who worked so hard.

This is a reminder that the last day to register at CyFalls for Summer School is tomorrow, May 29th.
Students still have an opportunity to sign up at the Summer School sites (CyRidge and CyCreek) on June 4 and 5th , on a space available basis.
Please have students speak with their counselor to discuss options for recovering credit.

Reminder: all CFISD schools & facilities will be closed Monday, May 27 in observance of the holiday.

Due to the loss of instructional time as our community recovered from the recent storm, spring final exams for students in grades 9-11 and all other high school level exams will be waived. High schools will remain on the published schedules for May 27-31.

Any student needing to take the final exam to improve his/her overall average should contact the campus.

Seniors Laptops and Fees

Good Morning Seniors! Hopefully today you are talking with your teachers to find out if you need to take finals or not. Hopefully most of you are done and just have to worry about turning in laptops and clearing fees and fines. We will be accepting laptops today during lunch.

Tomorrow 8am-10am will be designated time to turn in laptops in the library. You can also take care of your fees and fines tomorrow 8-10 as well. If you are needing to take finals on Friday then you will turn in laptop after your finals.

Seniors must have turned in laptops and be clear of fees to attend senior breakfast next Thursday.

Hope you are safe and have a great last few days!

All CFISD schools and facilities will be OPEN on Wednesday, May 22, except for the following:

Bane Elementary School
Bridgeland High School
Cypress Park High School
Holbrook Elementary School
Labay Middle School
Lowery Elementary School
Postma Elementary School
Rowe Middle School
Sprague Middle School
Wells Elementary School

Staff and families at these schools will receive additional information around 6 p.m. tonight.

For those campuses that are open tomorrow, please be patient if buses are running late, as one of our transportation centers has not yet had power restored.

We know that much of our area has endured days of power outages and damages due to Thursday’s storm, and some of you may not be fully recovered. Thank you so much for your continued patience during this challenging time. We look forward to seeing the majority of our students and staff on Wednesday.
