Dr. Kaleb Abbott joins this year’s CE in the Rockies lineup from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he specializes in complex ocular surface disease and clinical research.

In addition to his research work, he serves in leadership roles with the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society and the American Academy of Optometry, lectures nationally, and hosts the Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease section of the Clinical Podcast Series through the AAO Foundation.

One week since commencement, and we’re still feeling all the pride, joy, and excitement! ✨🎓 Here are more milestone moments!

As a prelude to commencement, we hosted our annual Out the Door class meeting to equip our newly minted optometrists with the tools they need to lead the profession. 🤩

We kicked off the day with inspiring addresses from Dean Michael Twa and Dr. Moes Nasser, president of the FERV- Foundation for Education & Research in Vision. Our graduates also networked with industry partners and leadership from the Texas Optometric Association: Dr. Adam Cox (President) and Sherry Ballance, MS, CAE (Executive Director). We closed the day by celebrating our graduates with the OPT IV Awards and the highly anticipated reveal of the Class of 2026 composite.
