✨ The Rise School had the wonderful opportunity to tour Brookwood for staff development. Brookwood is a citizen‑centered residential and vocational community that provides meaningful work, purpose, and lifelong learning for adults with disabilities. Their campus includes enterprises like horticulture, ceramics, retail, and café operations, all designed to empower citizens through dignity, independence, and community. Seeing their model firsthand gave our team valuable insight into how intentional environments can support people of all abilities across every stage of life, strengthening our commitment to high‑quality early education at Rise. 🎪We celebrated our last day of school with a school-wide carnival that was an unforgettable experience! The kids had an absolute blast playing in many carnival games, from ring toss to ball toss, and even got some magical face paint! They also enjoyed some refreshing ice cream in their favorite flavors. It was a fantastic way to wrap up the school year, and we can't wait to do it all again next year! 🎉🎂

🌊🐚 The splashed into Rise today! Our students had an amazing time exploring ocean life through their immersive sea critter experience. From touching real marine animals to discovering shells and learning about coastal ecosystems, our classrooms were filled with curiosity, excitement, and wide‑eyed wonder. We are so grateful to the Sea Center team for bringing this unforgettable hands‑on learning opportunity to our students. 💙

Parents, if your child loved these special guests, you can keep the adventure going. The Sea Center is free to visit and makes for a perfect family outing. 🐠✨
