VAPSS Vietnamese-American Pharmacy Student Society VAPSS works closely with Asian communities and minorities in order to promote health awareness Membership is open to all pharmacy students.

VAPSS was founded by University of Houston pharmacy students in 1999. The mission of VAPSS is to encourage pharmacy students to use their pharmaceutical knowledge to provide health education services at community health fairs in the greater Houston area. The Vietnamese American Pharmacist Association of Texas (VAPAT) is the parent chapter. In addition, VAPSS also provides mentorship, partial funding of travel expenses to pharmacy conventions, and social activities including intramural sports.
