Here are a few snippets from a day filled with smiles, new beginnings, joyful teaching, joyful learning, and our Cougars making tracks for the future! 🐾

A HUGE thank you to our families for your patience and flexibility as Mother Nature surprised us with an inclement weather dismissal on our very first day! 🌧️ We know dismissal looked a little different than planned, but the most important thing is that every Cougar made it home safely! ❤️

Cougars, rest up, recharge, and get ready—we’re back on the trail tomorrow for Day 2 at Camp Cornelius! ⛺️🐾

🎒❤️ Tomorrow is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, Cougars! ❤️🎒

We are so excited to welcome our students back to Cornelius Elementary for an amazing 2026–2027 school year! 🐾

⏰ Doors open at 7:00 AM
🍎 Breakfast is served in the cafeteria
📚 Instruction begins at 7:30 AM
🔔 Dismissal begins at 3:00 PM

❤️ PK Families: Beginning at 7:15 AM, only TWO parents/guardians per PK student may enter the building, and they MUST have the entry passes provided at Meet the Teacher. Please have your passes ready upon arrival.

Please review the reminders on the flyer to help us have a safe and smooth arrival and dismissal. We appreciate your patience as everyone learns their new routines during the first week!
