Our 5th graders explored the miracle of life in Religion class by “adopting” a classroom baby and tracking its growth each week. 👶✨ From orange-seed beginnings to a tiny beating heart, students discovered the beauty of God’s creation.
The unit ended with a baby shower celebration benefiting the SVdP Gabriel Project and a fun “Guess Who the Baby Is” game featuring student baby photos! 🩵💕 Special thanks to our parent volunteers for coordinating such a meaningful celebration.
Our 4th Grade Texas History Diorama Project brought history to life in an unforgettable way! 🤠⭐
Students selected from 27 different Texas historical events in each class, exploring topics that ranged from the Galveston Hurricane of 1900 to the inaugural season of the Houston Texans. With creativity, craftsmanship, and incredible attention to detail, students designed and built unique dioramas that made each moment in Texas history engaging and memorable.
From historic disasters and cultural milestones to iconic moments in sports history, our 4th graders did an amazing job bringing the stories of Texas to life. We are so proud of their hard work, imagination, and enthusiasm for learning! 📚✨

At our final school Mass with the 8th grade class, Fr. Sean introduced a meaningful new tradition to our school community: the Pass the Light Ceremony 🕯️✨
During this special celebration, our 8th grade students received a candle lit from the Easter Candle 🕯️ and a blessing from Fr. Sean. They then passed that light to the current 7th grade students, symbolizing the transition of leadership and responsibility
This powerful moment represents more than tradition—it reflects the passing of faith, service, and community
As our 8th graders prepare to move on, they entrust the light to the next class of leaders, who will carry it forward in the year ahead 🌟

From April 29–May 1, SVdP’s production of Raise Your Voice was pure magic! 🎶 Directed by Tasha Bertini and music directed by Will Fortune, this unforgettable show came to life through the incredible talent and dedication of our cast, crew, FAME volunteers, and supportive audience.

Once a Tiger, always a Tiger 🐯💛💚
SVDP loved welcoming back to campus the Class of 2022 before their high school graduation! From college shirts to yearbooks and sweet memories shared on campus, it was a joy to have them back home at SVDP.
We are so proud of these students and pray God continues to guide them as they take their next steps.
📚✨ Our third grade students brought history to life during our annual Biography Fair! Students dressed up as historical figures and proudly shared the research they completed about their lives and accomplishments. From creative costumes to engaging presentations, it was amazing to see their hard work, learning, and enthusiasm shine! 👏🎭🌟
