Parents! Please regularly check Class DoJo, which is our campus’ official communication, but I’m posting here to help spread the word!

IMPORTANT Official Message:

After further review of our building status, it has been determined that our campus will cancel classes on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

At this time the campus has partial power and the cooling systems are not yet fully operational. CenterPoint has worked through the night and was unable to get the community up with full power.

We’re planning for breakfast (8-9 am) and lunch (11-12 pm) to be available for pick up and will send families another message once available for pick up.

We intend to return students to class as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience as we work to restore power throughout the district.

Today, I was recognized as the Elementary Principal of Month for the North Division of Houston ISD. For those who know the story of my campus’ transformation, you know!😭

For years, I’ve said “I don’t care about the recognition because I do it for the kids.” But, when you’ve walked through literal hell to improve the learning environment and overall culture of a place that people had written off, you need a little nudge or thumbs up every now and then.

God I thank you for my nudge!

To God be the glory for the things He has done!

Grandparents!!!

We would like to celebrate you this Thursday, September 7th during lunch.

You are welcome to come and eat with your grandchild during their lunch time. $5 fee for your meal. (Please bring exact change!)

Due to space, only 2 guests are allowed for each student.

Students MUST REMAIN AT SCHOOL after lunch.

Grandparents WILL NOT BE PERMITTED to visit classrooms and MUST EXIT the building after your grandchild’s lunch time.
