Knowledge is one of the most powerful tools for protecting our health, including our brain health.

During Alzheimer's & Brain Health Awareness Month, we're encouraging our community to prioritize habits that support cognitive wellness:

🧠 Keep learning and challenging your mind
🏃 Stay active
🥗 Choose nutritious foods
😴 Get quality sleep
❤️ Manage your heart health
🤝 Stay connected with others

Brain-boosting foods to add to your plate:
🐟 Fatty fish like salmon and sardines
🥦 Broccoli
🫒 Olive oil

Brain health is closely linked to overall health, and healthy choices at every age can help support long-term well-being.

What is one healthy habit you're focusing on this month?

💚 Mental Health Awareness Month: Prioritize Your Mind, Nurture Your Well-Being 💚

This Mental Health Awareness Month, take time to care for your mental and emotional well-being with the same importance as your physical health.
Mental health is an essential part of overall wellness, and small daily habits can make a meaningful difference.

Prioritizing rest, connection, movement, and nourishment can help support emotional balance, reduce stress, and improve overall quality of life. Remember: it’s okay to slow down, ask for help, and take care of yourself.

Try incorporating these mood-supporting habits and foods into your routine:
Salmon – rich in omega-3 fatty acids that support brain function and emotional wellness
Dark leafy greens – packed with nutrients like folate and magnesium that may help support mood and reduce stress
Nuts and seeds – provide healthy fats and nutrients that support brain health and sustained energy

Supporting mental health starts with creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Small acts of kindness, self-care, and compassion can have a lasting impact on ourselves and those around us. 💚

💚 National Nutrition Month: Fuel Your Body with Balance 💚

This National Nutrition Month, focus on building balanced meals that truly nourish your body from the inside out.

Your health starts with what’s on your plate!

Build balanced meals by including foods from all five major food groups: fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, and protein. Eating a variety of nutrient-dense foods each day supports energy, immunity, and long-term health.

Try adding these powerful foods to your routine:
Quinoa – a complete plant protein packed with fiber and essential minerals to keep you full and energized
Mango – rich in vitamins A and C to support skin health and immunity
Cottage cheese – a protein-rich option that helps maintain strong muscles and bones

Taking care of your nutrition is one of the most powerful ways to support your overall health at every stage of life. Small, balanced choices each day add up to lasting wellness.
