Congratulations to Dr. Allison Edwards, who has been elected to serve on the UT System Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee in recognition of her generosity, leadership, and service. Edwards, an associate professor at Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston, will initially serve a three-year term.

Dr. Kelly Kearney has been selected for the 2026-2027 cohort of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s Elevating Leaders in Academic Nursing Program. The fellowship enhances leadership skills in emerging academic nurse leaders. Her participation reflects an ongoing commitment to excellence in nursing education, mentorship, and innovation within academic nursing. Kearney is an associate professor at Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston.
