“God told me to share this message with you.”
23 “You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. 2 You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice.
Exodus 23:1-2
The spiritual message is that God calls us to live with truth, integrity, and fairness. We’re warned not to spread gossip or false reports, not to follow the crowd into wrongdoing, and not to show favoritism because of someone’s status or poverty. As followers of Christ, our words and actions should reflect God’s truth and bring glory to Him, not the pressure of public opinion. People may judge your appearance, past, or reputation, but God sees your heart. Today, He sets before you a choice: truth or gossip, love or hatred, forgiveness or revenge. Gossip may seem sweet for a moment, but it is poison to the soul. The way you speak about others reveals what is in your heart, especially when they are not present. Let your words glorify Christ, because every word matters before God. Gossip destroys, but love restores; truth brings freedom, and grace brings healing. God knows every heart, so do not follow the crowd—follow Christ. Choose to be a voice of grace, truth, and encouragement, and let your words and your life reflect His love and mercy.
