We’re kicking off Community Helpers Month with a special visit from the Say Ahhh Pediatric Dentistry team!

Our students learned which foods help keep their teeth strong, how to brush properly, and why taking care of their teeth is so important. To make the visit even more special, they got to meet the Tooth Fairy!

Thank you, Say Ahhh! Pediatric Dentistry, for visiting our school, making dental health education fun, and helping bring our Community Helpers lessons to life!

Ms. Traenell recently celebrated 5 wonderful years at Kids 'R' Kids West Houston! 💙

As one of our Infant teachers, Ms. Traenell brings a kind, sweet, and nurturing presence to our littlest learners each day. From comforting cuddles and playful moments to supporting their daily routines, she helps create a loving and caring environment where our babies can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Caring for our youngest children is such a special responsibility, and we appreciate the patience, gentleness, and care Ms. Traenell brings to her classroom and our families. We are so happy to celebrate this incredible milestone and five years of having her as part of our Kids 'R' Kids West Houston family!

93% AT OR ABOVE BENCHMARK! 🌟

How do our students measure up for kindergarten readiness?

Using the DIBELS 8th Edition Early Literacy Assessment to measure kindergarten readiness, 93% of our Kids ‘R’ Kids West Houston students entered kindergarten at or above benchmark. 💙

Results like these reflect strong early learning experiences and an entire team of incredible educators who make them possible every day.

So we celebrated our entire team behind the 93% with a well-deserved lunch from Soto’s! 🌮💛

And since our celebration happened to fall on Storybook Dress-Up Day, some of our educators celebrated in character, too!

Ms. Zulma recently celebrated her first year at Kids 'R' Kids West Houston!

Behind every busy day of learning, playing, and growing are the meals and snacks that help keep our students fueled and ready for all the learning and fun! As our school cook, Ms. Zulma plays an important role in making that happen. From breakfast and lunch to snacks throughout the day, she prepares the healthy and delicious meals our children enjoy each day.

Caring for our students goes far beyond the classroom, and Ms. Zulma is an important part of the team that makes each day at Kids 'R' Kids possible. The time and care she puts into preparing meals for our children supports all the learning, playing, growing, and exploring that happens throughout our school. We are so happy to celebrate this special milestone and everything she contributes to our Kids 'R' Kids West Houston family.

Ms. Sara recently celebrated another year at Kids 'R' Kids West Houston! 💙

As one of our Preschool teachers in Classroom 300, Ms. Sara spends her afternoons caring for our little learners and supporting them through their daily routines. From classroom activities and playtime to growing independence and potty training, she helps with the many little milestones that come with this age.

Outside of Kids 'R' Kids, Ms. Sara is a college student, balancing her education with her part time role here at Kids 'R' Kids West Houston. We appreciate the time she spends with our Preschool children while continuing her own education.

Ms. Victoria recently celebrated her first year at Kids 'R' Kids West Houston! 💙

As one of our part time teachers, Ms. Victoria is a familiar face in our gym, where she spends much of her time with our School Age students and helps make their afternoons at Kids 'R' Kids fun and engaging. She enjoys connecting with the children and being part of the excitement and energy they bring to our school each day.

Outside of Kids 'R' Kids, Ms. Victoria is a college student, balancing her education with her role here at Kids 'R' Kids West Houston. We are happy to celebrate this special milestone with her and recognize her first year as part of our Kids 'R' Kids West Houston family!

Ms. May recently celebrated her first year at Kids 'R' Kids West Houston! 💙

As one of our Pre K 4 teachers, Ms. May brings a sweet and kind presence to her classroom each day. From gathering together for circle time to working with students in small groups, she helps guide her class through meaningful and creative learning experiences throughout their day.
