First crewed flight toward the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972.
1. Systems Verification
Earth orbit first โ confirm life support, communications, and navigation. If all clear, ignite toward a figure-8 lunar orbit.
2. Science
The AVATAR organ-on-a-chip device studies radiation and microgravity effects on the human body โ building the medical foundation for long-duration space missions.
3. Pathfinding
No lunar landing this time. This is the critical precursor to the 2028 Moon landing โ and humanity's first permanent lunar base.
4. The Space Race โ Reloaded
China aims to land astronauts on the Moon before 2030. NASA's target: 2028.
