The 19th annual College Leadership Workshop will be held on Saturday, November 13th, 2022. Due to COVID, this year's workshop will be fully virtual.
Registration is now open to all high school students at tinyurl.com/RiceCLW21 Traditionally held on the Rice University campus, the College Leadership Workshop is an event designed to empower high school students with the knowledge and incentive to apply to college. The event is led entirely by student volunteers. Due to COVID, CLW will be fully virtual this year! Previous years' workshops have be
en great successes, and we aim to make this year's workshop even better. Although geared toward Vietnamese and other Asian-American students, the event is open to all interested students. Most of the day will be spent with college students who will share their college experiences as well as any difficulties they had while applying to college. A number of the college students are Rice University students, and high school students will have ample opportunities to ask these undergraduates any questions they may have. We would like to stress that our goal for the day is not to recruit students to Rice. Our main goal is helping students along in the application process no matter what school they are interested in. We may draw more examples from our experience in applying to Rice, but ultimately, we would like to encourage students to apply to any school that they wish to attend. So how do you register?
