🍩💙 Donuts with Dad & A Day on the Playground 💙🍩

What a wonderful morning celebrating the amazing fathers and father figures in our Montessori community! Today, our students enjoyed Donuts with Dad followed by a special Day on the Playground with Dad event.

From sharing sweet treats to playing together outdoors, families created lasting memories while enjoying quality one-on-one time. Fathers had the opportunity to connect with their children, meet other dads, and build relationships within our school community.

The laughter, smiles, and joyful moments shared on the playground reminded us how important family engagement is in a child's educational journey. Thank you to all of the fathers and special guests who took time out of their busy schedules to celebrate with us today.

What better way to cool off on this hot summer day than with a delicious Ice Cream Social! Our campers enjoyed a fun-filled in-house field trip featuring a variety of sweet treats and toppings to create their very own ice cream masterpieces.

Our students had a blast exploring different flavor combinations while practicing social skills, decision-making, and independence. The smiles, laughter, and sticky fingers were proof that this was a sweet summer success!

🥔🌱 IT'S HARVEST TIME! 🌱🥔

Today, our Pre-Primary students revisited our outdoor garden to help clean the garden beds and observe any visible plant growth. The children were excited to discover that one of our potatoes was ready to harvest!

Gardening provides children with hands-on learning opportunities that teach patience, responsibility, and an appreciation for nature. Our young gardeners enjoyed examining the plants, discussing the growth process, and celebrating the fruits (and vegetables!) of their hard work.

🌿 Gardening Fun Fact for Kids: Did you know that potatoes grow underground? One potato plant can produce several potatoes, and the part we eat is actually called a "tuber" that stores nutrients for the plant!
