Our little explorers will embark on a special journey inspired by some of history’s great expeditions — discovering how people have traveled across oceans, taken to the skies, explored new lands, and even reached space.

Through play and hands-on experiences, children will discover that exploring is about more than going somewhere new. It’s about observing, asking questions, solving problems, working together, and appreciating the many cultures and ways of life that make our world so extraordinary. 💛

Why does a simple obstacle course matter so much? 🏃 Because every station builds more than muscles.

Crawl under. Balance across. Jump in. Climb over. Our little athletes moved through the circuit one challenge at a time.

What they practiced:
• Gross motor skills: strength, coordination, and balance with every step and jump.
• Body awareness: knowing where their body is in space and how to move it safely.
• Following a sequence: first, next, last, a key skill for early math and reading.
• Perseverance: trying again after a wobble and cheering for friends who do the same.

Moving bodies build learning brains. Active play supports focus, self-regulation, and classroom confidence.

🐮🐷🐔 Moo, oink, cluck! Our Toddlers are spending October on the farm.

Barnyard Adventures invites our youngest learners to meet farm animals through stories, sounds, sensory play, and small worlds they can touch and move.

This month's big discovery is the life cycle of a chick: how life begins inside an egg and all the changes that follow. 🐣

Every animal sound they copy, and every new word they try, is language growing right in front of us.

🌱 How does a tiny seed become a tree?

This October, our Preschool classrooms are following A Tree's Journey. Children are planting, observing, asking questions, and building their own ideas about what a plant needs to live and how it changes over time.

No worksheets telling them the answer. Just soil, seeds, magnifying glasses, and a lot of “why?” 🔍

At the end of the month, each classroom will share its learning journey in a special exhibition, so families can see the process, the discoveries and the children’s own work. 🌳

September gave us a beautiful lesson: Kindness Makes Magic. ✨💛

Throughout the month, our children learned that kindness lives in the little things — sharing, helping, caring, and choosing words that make others feel good.

We saw it in their smiles, their friendships, and their everyday actions.

Now, we close this chapter carrying those lessons with us and welcome a new value to explore together.

✏️✨ The Beginning of Writing

Learning to write is a process of discovery, not simply learning to copy letters. Our children explored lines, shapes, symbols, and letter formations as they gradually learned that the marks they created could carry meaning.

Through these early writing experiences, they strengthened pencil control, developed visual-motor coordination, practiced directionality, and began connecting sounds, letters, and written language.

We understand early writing as a journey: first we explore, then we recognize, trace, represent, and little by little… we write. 💛📝

🍎🌱 Our little learners celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day by discovering the journey from a tiny seed to a growing tree.

Through storytelling, hands-on exploration, an apple balance race, and natural materials, children investigated seeds, roots, leaves, flowers, and fruit while sharing their own ideas and observations. 🌳✨

Each child also took a seed home to continue the experience with their family — a beautiful reminder that learning, just like kindness, can keep growing.

🚽 We recently hosted Potty Learning: Ready, Set, Go! — a workshop dedicated to our Alianza families, where our team shared how to recognize the real signs of readiness, support the process at home, and keep school and family aligned so it becomes a positive, respectful milestone for your child.

Potty learning isn't a race — it isn't the same for every child. This is a practical conversation for parents who want to follow their child's pace, not a calendar. 💛
