Ashford Elementary PTO

We continued celebrating our Teachers and Staff yesterday by treating them to a Jason's Deli Lunch! While our awesome teachers and staff picked up their lunches, they were also treated to a gift card (courtesy of a large anonymous donation), a coupon for a free Jason's Deli Cookie (donated by Jason's Deli), and a Free Car Wash (for ALL of our teachers and staff, donated by Zoom Car Wash) !!!

Thank you for supporting our Teachers and Staff! They deserve it!

Good Morning Ashford Families!

Today is the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week at Ashford Elementary, and we kicked it off strong with a breakfast for all of our staff and faculty, coordinated by our Ashford PTO, along with a wonderful donation of Kolaches from the Kolache Factory!

Each day our Ashford Teachers and Staff can look forward to delightful treats coordinated by our Ashford Administration Team, PTO, Ethnos Church, and others. If you haven't seen it yet, please be on the lookout for a flyer home regarding additional small ways you can share in the celebration of your own teachers!

We are so excited to share with you the new PreK / Kindergarten area glow-up!

We had a wonderful response to our last-minute ParentSquare call for volunteers on a Sunday - y’all SHOWED UP - THANK YOU!!! Special shoutout to our PTO secretary Chandra Cambell for coordinating the effort!

45 students received a free book as part of a surprise raffle, many of whom were not otherwise able to enjoy the Book Fair experience, thanks to your Share the Fair contributions and the use of some Scholastic Dollars (which we can take in lieu of cash at the fair)

The in-person fair is packed up and ready to send back, but the fun doesn't stop here! Did something you wanted sell out before you got your hands on it? Did you run out of time to shop, or maybe were waiting for a paycheck to hit?

Eagles - We have new Picnic Tables!

Purchased and assembled by our Ashford PTO, these new picnic tables can be found on the North side of the school by the teacher parking lot. There are enough seats (at 2 per bench) to fit a class looking for time outdoors, they can serve as a space away for teachers taking their lunch outdoors, and we hope families will enjoy them during events such as Trunk or Treat in the Fall!

These types of projects and boosting of school resources happens thanks to your participating in our PTO Fundraisers! When you participate in Spirit Nights (like our favorite - Chuck-E-Cheese), Book Fair, Fun Food Friday, and Free Dress Day, you are actively contributing back to our school's resources and environment for our kids.
