THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM DEER PARK ISD:

School and all related activities are canceled for today, Sept. 1, for all Deer Park ISD campuses.

DPISD employees should not report for duty with the exception of a small group of maintenance employees, who will be contacted directly by their supervisor.

The District participated in a conference call with county emergency officials regarding what is now called Tropical Storm Edouard.

Emergency officials stated that the storm worsened overnight, potentially affecting our area with significant rain and flooding.

Please stay safe during this weather event, and we encourage you to monitor weather conditions throughout the day.

🦅 Falcon Friday Recap 🦅

We've had a great week of learning, teamwork, and fun! Students have been busy working through stations, celebrating successes, and cheering each other on as they learn and grow.
This week, we also celebrated World Rock Paper Scissors Day with some friendly team competitions that brought lots of excitement and smiles.

Our 5th graders have started their Postcards Across America project, and we'd love your help! If you have friends or family in another state, consider asking them to send a postcard as we work toward collecting postcards from all 50 states.

And a special shoutout to our newest Birthday Book Club members! 📚🎉 Thank you for helping grow our library while celebrating your birthdays.

🦅 Falcon Friday Recap 🦅
Another great week! Our Technology & Literacy Crew (TLC) has been busy preparing for morning announcements and library orientation. Students are building math skills through stations and games, while Ms. McCroskey continues spreading the joy of reading by sharing stories with every classroom.
From teamwork and new friendships to the smiles and joy shining in our SLC class, our Falcons are learning, growing, and soaring together every day!
