Meet the casts of our MUSICAL THEATRE ACADEMY production of INTO THE WOODS ✨
Lapine and Sondheim take everyone’s favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Thank you to the Sisterhood of Congregation Emanu El for an amazing performance opportunity for our students this past Saturday. The River was honored at their event, Music of the Night. The evening was magical!
Our students were in the company of Broadway’s Seth Rudetsky, Andrea McArdle, and Adam Pascal. They joined Adam on "Seasons of Love" and as backup on "Ya Got Trouble." They also performed a medley of songs with an original arrangement created by the incomparable creative duo of Rozie Curtis & Stephanie Blue.

Did you know The River offers scholarships? Students with disabilities and their siblings ages 4 - adult are encouraged to apply for need-based scholarships, which cover up to four courses per student for the Spring semester. The deadline to submit an application is this Thursday, January 6th. For more information, please visit TUTS.com/scholarship.
