The Summerwood Elementary PTO Board is organized for the purpose of supporting the education of the children at
Summerwood Elementary School by doing the following:
Fostering relationships among the school, parents, and teachers. Developing a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement
Enhancing the educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment acti
vities. Enhancing a sense of community by holding social events like Family Fun Nights and the school carnival. Improving the environment at Summerwood Elementary by providing financial support through fundraisers
Research shows that parent involvement at schools makes a huge difference in your school and your children. We want to make it easy for you to get involved at Summerwood Elementary! You can help out in a classroom, the workroom, at home or at any of our
functions. If this doesn't work for you, let us know your talents and how you would like to help, and we will see what we can do.
