Tip 1: If driving in heavy rain, drive 10 MPH less than the speed limit.
Turn your hazard lights on and pull over on the shoulder if you cannot see ahead of you.
Tip 2: Park your vehicle on an incline.
With it being Hurricane season, you want to make sure your vehicle is parked on an incline. You don't want to risk your vehicle from flooding your engine or having water in your car.
3: Fuel up your gas tank.
If you need to evacuate your home, you'll need enough gas to make it to your next destination. Gas stations will be packed if you wait til the last minute.

These are easy access tips that you can easily check off. You can mark these tips off your to-do list within 10 minutes before leaving for your next destination. Especially a road trip.
1. Check your tire pressure daily. If you do not know your recommended tire pressure, check your vehicle’s owner manual.
2. Take 5 minutes to warm up your vehicle. If you’re in a colder weather area, take up to 5 minutes out of your time to start & warm up your vehicle before leaving.
3. Check your Brakes. Listen out for a grinding, squealing, squeaking, or rattling sound (you don't want those sounds).
Stay Safe & Happy Holidays!
