Congratulations to everyone who completed the BCM Community 5K & Well-Being! It is always a great event and the weather was perfect!! One of our MSTP students won 1st place in the whole race and another won 2nd in males 20-30!! the MSTP FastGrads have had a team at every race since 2012, This year, we won the biggest team and received an awesome gift card from Tiff's Treats!

Symposium 2025 at Camp Allen
Save the Date for 2026 Symposium September 11-13!!
We heard amazing science and had a lot of fun at our annual Symposium. This year’s theme was Into the Jungle, including Tree-mendous Trivia on Friday, The Incredible Quest to Madagascar: Zoo-preme adventure, and Into the Jungle Extravaganza! with costumes for Saturday social.
Our Keynote speaker was Eugene Koay. Our Director speaker was Associate MSTP Director James Orengo.
There were 13 student speakers at this Symposium! They all did an outstanding job.

Congratulations to Dr. Xander Wehrens!
Dr. Wehrens received a Distinguished Scientist Award from the Heart Rhythm Society for his unique contributions to science, impact on patients and peers and research accomplishments in the field.
