What an outstanding week it's been here at UH! We are so proud of these wonderful students for the effort and dedication shown throughout this camp and today in their final concert. The UH Choral Department was honored to be a part of their TMEA All-State Choir journey and are also grateful for getting the opportunity to encourage and promote such immense talent. Thank you again to all the Clinicians, Student Leaders, Conductors, Collaborative Musicians, and everyone who made Cougar Choir Camp 2026 possible. Hope to see you next year!🔴GO COOGS🔴
Day 2 and 3 of Cougar Choir Camp were filled with lots of sectionals, information sessions on Vocal Pedagogy, The Physicality of Singing, Acting, and Sight-Reading! And yes....the audio is not an instagram audio, it's the sound of the amazing students you see in these videos. Come see them tomorrow 12pm in the Moores Opera House for an unforgettable concert where they will showcase the hard work they've put into this music the last few days.

Join us for an evening of tenor-bass voices as the University of Houston’s Resonance joins the Shadow Creek High School Tenor-Bass Choir at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. While you will hear the works of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Richard Burchard, Cantus, and Carl Off, the program will also feature performances by UH’s student-led a ca****la ensemble The Moores Classics, showcasing the full spectrum of contemporary and choral styles.
