Longfellow Families,
On August 18, 19, and 20, our students will complete their Beginning-of-the-Year (BOY) Assessments in Reading, Math, and Science. These assessments will give our teachers an important benchmark of what students already know and where they need additional support.
Teachers will use this data to create individualized learning plans that target each student’s needs and help them maximize their academic growth throughout the school year.
We need your help! Please make sure your Little Leopard:
🐆 Is at school and on time each day
🐆 Gets a good night’s rest
🐆 Eats a healthy breakfast
🐆 Comes ready to focus and do their very best
Attendance matters—especially on assessment days!

🚫 No jeans.
👕 Students who choose not to participate must wear their regular school uniform.

As we prepare for an amazing school year, please review our 2026–2027 Uniform Guidelines.
Students may wear:
💙 White, Navy Blue, or Gold Polo Shirts (Gold shirts should be true gold—not yellow.)
👖 Navy Blue or Khaki Pants, Shorts, Skirts, or Jumpers
👟 Closed-Toe Shoes with a back or strap
🚫 The following are not part of the uniform and should not be worn to school:
Crocs
Hats or Hoodies
Sandals
Jeans
🎓 College Shirt Wednesdays
Students may wear a college shirt on Wednesdays with their regular uniform bottoms.
