HSE celebrated its cultural diversity on November 8th with a showcase of 16 countries. The International Festival, organized annually by our PTO, is a highly anticipated community event. We express our gratitude to Mrs. Flores, Mrs. Wilmot, Mrs. Birks, and their amazing team for their outstanding efforts in organizing the event. Our appreciation also goes to Mr. Pine for his lively and vibrant hosting, to the cheer team, and all performers for their spectacular performances. We thank our wonderful staff, admin, district leaders, parents, students, volunteers, vendors, and community partners for their presence, support, and contributions to the event's success.

Our K-8 HSE Family Literacy Night, with the theme "Out of this World," was successfully held on October 29th. Students and parents had a wonderful time participating in the activities and projects carefully planned by our teachers. The event featured numerous hands-on activities that fostered creativity and skill-building among students. Reading a diverse range of books was another enjoyable aspect of the evening. Participants eagerly solved puzzles and unscrambled words, showcasing their excitement and enthusiasm. We thank everyone who attended and participated in our Literacy Night event, and we appreciate the hard work of our staff and administrators in organizing this event. Special thanks to Mr. Adem Ertuna, our Assistant Area Superintendent, for visiting our event. To our wonderful PTO, NEHS and NJHS student volunteers led by Ms. Mikeska, Mr. Richardson, and Mr. Ngo, thank you so much for all your assistance and support.
