How do cells change and develop over time? A new study published in Nature Communications, co-authored by Hao Feng, PhD, introduces a computational approach that helps scientists better understand DNA methylation, a key chemical process that regulates gene activity.

Education at the School of Public Health goes beyond textbooks! In the Occupational Health curriculum, students are able to step out of the classroom and into real-world biomedical labs, industrial sites, and emergency facilities to see firsthand how workplace hazards are managed and prevented.
Students learn to think critically, observe carefully, and lead confidently in complex occupational environments.

Palmer Beasley Award for Innovation recipient Shannon Guillot-Wright, PhD who is recognized for her extensive and impactful research in increasing health care access for those working in the commercial fishing industry. This award recognizes Guillot-Wright’s exceptional ability to combine research, community partnership, and innovation to improve lives while advancing health access.
