Hello and Namaste Everyone!

We are thrilled to invite you to our Nepali Movie Night, hosted by the Nepalese Student Association at University of Houston - Main Campus. This gathering promises to be a unique exploration of the depth and diversity of Nepalese cinema. Our feature presentation for the evening is "Kagbeni," recognized as Nepal's first digital film. It portrays the beauty of Nepali traditions, landscapes, and narratives, all woven into a captivating mix of horror and drama.

This event is more than just a movie screening. It's an opportunity for cultural exchange and strengthening our bonds within the community. After the film, we will be having fun activities and food (our favorite MO:MO).

Please confirm your attendance at your earliest convenience. For more information or any questions, feel free to reach out to us.

Please make sure that you RSVP for the program by clicking the link below, no later than October 25, Wednesday. The cost of the event will be covered by the funding of CCA if approved.

Namaste Everyone,
We hope the summer vacation is going enjoyable for everyone.
We completed our soccer tournament a few weeks ago. It was an exciting tournament. The student's group won the tournament against the alumni team with a 2-0 score. Congratulations to both the teams for their excellent effort and thanks a lot for making the event so exciting.
We are proud of our teams for their admirable game of play. The team showed great discipline, coordination, spirit, and sportsmanship. It was also an exemplary demonstration of fair play. Kudos to the players.
We have organized this tournament for the first time. Our objective was to bring most of the members together with an event that most of us love. We received about 30 players list, which is encouraging. Another reason to host this event is to open a new dimension towards sports events- not just among NSA-UH but also within the university and Houston overall. It was just the first step of the summit we want to reach.
We have received a lot of suggestions regarding this event and also future events. We didn't have enough resources to incorporate all of those. However, we will update ourself, and make it easier for maximum participation. We appreciate your feedback. Also, we sincerely apologize to the teams and players who could not participate in this event.
We received substantial supports from many groups and individuals. We express our sincere gratitude to the alumni and student team for their assistance in organizing this event. Without your support, it would not have been possible. We also like to appreciate the volunteers who helped during the event.
We are grateful to Kathmandu Curry and Bar for providing us the financial assistance to organize this event. It is a restaurant (address: 5711 Hillcroft Ave Suite A-6, Houston, TX 77036) that provides authentic Nepali, Indian and other cuisines. Do visit them. We expect to collaborate with you in future events as well. Keep on supporting us.
We will organize other events very soon.

The first match of the NSA-UH soccer tournament was successful, and it was exciting to see such a thrilling match. The score is 1-0 in favor of the student's team. We will have the second match on 26th June, Saturday.
The first match was an excellent display of fair play and sportsmanship. We expect similar discipline and cooperation with each other during and after the play. We appreciate the efforts and supports from both teams to make this tournament a success.
It is the first soccer tournament organized by NSA-UH. It would not have been possible without our generous sponsor- Kathmandu Curry and Bar.
Kathmandu Curry and Bar is a restaurant located in The Plaza @ Hillcroft and Harwin, and they provide authentic Nepali and Indian cuisines.
We are very excited to have a good collaboration with Kathmandu Curry and Bar in future events. Thank you for the support.
Pretty excited for the final.
We have best wishes for both the teams for the final match.
