’s RoboKnights have done it again, and are showing that they are a force to be reckoned with. Not only are they the top ranked UIL team in the FIRST Robotics Competition for ALL of , they’ve also ranked 34th in Texas! Their hard work and dedication throughout the year has earned them an invite to the prestigious State Championships in Austin, TX, where they will compete against some of the best robotics teams out there.
But we need your help to get our fantastic boys there. The travel and lodging expenses related to this trip are something we hope to keep to a minimum for our boys, and we are hoping to raise the majority, if not all, the funds for them. How amazing would it be for them to not have to worry about HOW they will get there, but only focus on WHAT amazing things they will get to do when they do get there! Please help out our engineers and programmers by donating toward their travel expenses for UIL state championships. Every little bit helps!

What a day! The RoboKings, the FTC team from Chancellor State College in Queensland, Australia, is in town for the World Championship competition, and we invited them to our facility to practice! Congrats to our new friends from the other side of the world, and good luck this week!!

Wow!! We started off today with some of my guys competing in an app development expo, where they won 1st place and a $3400 cash prize, then hightailed it to the other side of town for our FRC Robotics Competition, where we made it to Quarterfinals and received the Judges Award for overall robot performance and exemplary display of gracious professionalism and sportsmanship. Big things are happening at Mickey Leland College Prep, and we couldn't possibly be more proud of our boys!
