Our residents had a strong showing at the TCEP conference this past weekend! Dr. Bayliss received the Michael Wainscott Legacy Award for her contributions to the field of Emergency Medicine and Dr. Sharp represented our program in the annual research forum. Way to go!! 🎉

Dr. Lara Samarneh recently completed an elective month working in the Fort Defiance Emergency Department in the Navajo Nation. Not only did Dr. Samarneh have a great clinical experience, she also got to spend her free time enjoying some beautiful nature!

We had 3 great talks from our PGY-3s today! Dr. Aceves, Dr. Self and Dr. Timmons presented their Senior Grands Rounds covering a wide variety of topics: alcohol withdrawal, cosmetic procedure emergencies, and managing epidural hematomas in resource limited settings (drill, baby, drill 💀)! Way to go! 🎉

We are so proud of Dr. Ganji for her hard work presenting her clinical pathologic case at the 2024 CORD Academy Assembly! Way to go!

Our upper levels have been using their elective time for some pretty amazing experiences. Dr. Sharp recently completed a Wilderness Medicine Elective with the Wilderness Medical Society. Way to go!
